Summer Chess Classes

Monday- Intermediate

What: John Bain “Chess Tactics for students” (Starting new classes) Intermediate level

When: Monday’s 4:00 - 5:30 new classes start Monday 5/14 or 5/21 for beginning students.

Details – Cost 12 classes and book $115. Dates - 5/14, 5/21, 5/28, 6/4, 6/11, 6/18, 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30. Limited to the first 10 students to sign up.

Tuesday – Intermediate

What: Opening Study - Classical King Pawn, Queen Pawn, openings, defenses, and principles.

When: Tuesday 4:00 – 5:30 new classes start Tuesday 6/5 for Intermediate level.

Details - Cost $55 for 5 classes. Dates 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3. I will teach one opening and defense at each lesson then let them fight with them. Limited to the first 10 students to sign up.

Wednesday - Advanced Classes

5/30 – Start new advanced classes – GM Lev Alberts - King in Jeopardy 5 classes $55

“How to attack the King in the center Part 1” & chess play

Time – 4:00 - 5:30

Dates - 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, and 6/27.

Limited to the first 10 people to sign up.

7/13 – Start new advanced classes – GM Lev Albert – King in Jeopardy 5 classes $55

“How to attack the King on the King side Part 2” & chess play

Time – 4:00 - 5:30

Dates – 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, 8/1, and 8/8

Limited to the first 10 people to sign up.

Tuesday’s Tactics - finishing Chapters 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12

Thursday’s Tactics - finishing Chapter 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12
